Pakistan women's national cricket team have officially announced their 15-member squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, with captain Fatima Sana leading the side in hopes of securing Pakistan’s first-ever Women’s T20 World Cup title.
Pakistan enter the tournament aiming to break a long-standing barrier in women’s cricket. Despite participating in every edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup, the team has never reached the knockout stage. The 2026 tournament now presents another major opportunity for Pakistan to create history on the global stage.
The squad features five debutants set to play their first Women’s T20 World Cup:
- Eyman Fatima
- Natalia Parvaiz
- Rameen Shamim
- Saira Jabeen
- Tasmia Rubab
Top-order batter Gull Feroza comes into the tournament with excellent form after scoring two centuries in the recent ODI series against Zimbabwe, while experienced players Muneeba Ali and Ayesha Zafar are expected to provide stability at the top.
Pakistan’s middle order includes reliable options such as Iram Javed, Aliya Riaz, Natalia Parvaiz, and Saira Jabeen.
However, Pakistan’s biggest strength continues to be their bowling attack. The spin department will be led by Sadia Iqbal, Nashra Sandhu, Tuba Hassan, and Rameen Shamim, while captain Fatima Sana, Diana Baig, and Tasmia Rubab strengthen the pace attack.
